Memorial Weekend

Our Memorial Weekend didn't officially start until Sunday morning when Eli got off of work. On Monday we took the kids on a bike ride. Kayla hates her bike because she is to big for it so she refused her bike and went with her scooter. Now Kayla's idea of breaking is sliding her foot on the ground or jumping off. At first she was going quite slow but once we got going down hill she got her speed up to 10mph. It looked so funny with her legs and scooter wobbling back and forth...I was just waiting for her to fall, but she did great. We rode to a park and let them play for awhile. On the way home we stuffed all 3 kids in the bike trailer and went home. Poor Eli was dragging 100 lbs. behind him. We then went right to the movie theatre and saw Night at the Museum 2...it was alright but not my fav. They sat quietly and ate their popcorn without a sound. Gavin did great as long as I stuffed his face with greasy, salty popcorn. (By the way it was nasty coming out of the other end):) Then he fell asleep and I got to eat popcorn to. Then we went to Lowes to look for stuff to get for our new house. On our way home some girls were screaming the "F" word at us and flipping us off. Eli being Eli turned the car around and went back to them to give them the stink eye. As we drove by they started flipping us off again and swearing. Eli then throws the car in park(in the middle of the road mind you) and went after them to yell back. It turns out they saw our Prop 8 sticker on our bumper and they were all lesbians. (Go carpet eater:)) All in all it was a fun day because there was absolutely no fighting all day long....none from the kids to:)
