Makayla's 5th birthday

On Sunday the 9th Kayla turned 5 at 11:00am. I remember her birth like it was yesterday...just kidding! She woke up to find "My little Ponies" downstairs. We stayed home from church that day 'cause the boys were sick and Eli had to go into work. She was really sad that she didn't get to go to primary and have everyone sing Happy Birthday to her. But since we stayed home she got to play with her ponies all day long.

On Monday the 10th she woke up to balloons all over the house and lots of presents. She went with her dad to his work then got to pick out her own ice cream at the store. When she came home she opened presents and was so excited about everything.

After that we took her to Build a Bear where she got to pick out her own bear, and make it herself. She picked out the clothes and even did the birth certificate on the computer by herself. Then we took the kids to Chuck E. Cheese for some lunch and to play the games.

We had to turn the cupcakes around so she could blow them all out.

At 6:30pm her friends came over and we had cupcakes and ice cream. The kids ran around with the balloons all night long. She had a great day and even today she still thinks its her birthday. She got so many things this year...she was a little spoiled.

Aw, such cute fun things for her birthday. Have I told you that Makayla looks just like you. I'm sure you've heard it from many others, but now from me :) And that sucks about your never ending night of no sleep. Hopefully you'll be able to catch up soon.

Kayla is beautiful. It makes me sad to see her growing up and I can't be there everyday.
