Garrett started speach class 3 weeks ago and he talking so much better. The first day we met with Alice (therapist) he took right to her. The second week he went from grunting to saying 4 word sentences. Everyone said that boys learn to talk slower then girls do but when we had him evaluated he was at a 18 month level. Now he jabbers about everything. At class they let the kids play and while they play the instructor asks them to say the things they are playig with. Garrett loves it and I'm loving understanding him. Everyweek he learns a new word that sticks with him and last week it was: Apple, so we went to the store so he could buy an apple. Way to go Buddy!

That is great that he is starting to like talking now! Maybe he is just a stubborn kid eh? :)
Our little Payton is a definite grunter! Her cousin who is 1 week older has been talking for a while! We wonder when we need to get her checked...
I am glad it is working so well for Garrett! I wondered if something just has to trigger for them and then they don't stop talking!!
