For our 10 yr Anniversary we left the kids at home with a babysitter and took off for the weekend. We went to a fun hotel on Friday night in S. Lake Tahoe. On Saturday we went to a few galleries then hiked a few trails. It was the very best weekend and so pretty.
On the first trail it was called "Rainbow trail" and we saw lots of salmon in a very shallow stream, and we watched a duck stuff one down.
On the second trail we walked to the lake. The sun was starting to set and it was so beautiful.
On our way home we stopped on the side of the road and climbed over the guardrail and took more pictures.
And you can never have too many sunset pictures.
This shot reminds me of Cottonwood canyon, which is where we went the day after we got married.
What a great weekend, but it ended all to soon.
